Here are the questions most frequently asked by our customers to guide you in carrying out your line marking project.

How long does it take for the lines to dry?
Optimally, it takes 3 hours before a vehicle can pass over the lines without damaging them. However, the paint dries quickly on the surface, after only fifteen minutes, you will be able to walk or drive on it without leaving traces.
It is important to note that drying time may vary depending on temperature. For example, the marking will take less time to dry if the temperature is hot and dry than if it is cold and humid.
What should we prepare before the passage of your team?
When the date of the work is fixed, you must make sure to free the place of intervention of any clutter (cars, bicycles, garbage cans, etc.). Also, in order for your marking to adhere as much as possible, you must ensure that the place of intervention is clean and free of any coarse debris. Our technicians are equipped to do the finishing and they will make sure to remove surface dust that could affect the adhesion of the paint.
What temperatures allow marking?
In order to proceed with marking, temperatures must be above freezing. Below the freezing point, the paint freezes before clinging to the coating, which compromises the longevity of the marking. Additionally, we need to work on a dry coatingto maximize extended paint adhesion.
What do you do if the temperature does not allow marking?
We will contact you to inform you that the intervention is cancelled since the temperature does not allow our products to offer you their full performance. We generally advise around 3 p.m. the day before the intervention. On the same day or in the days that follow, we will find a new date that suits you.
How long does the marking last?
For this question, there are as many possible answers as there are customers. Some customers refresh their lines every eight years, while others redo them twice a year. All have a very different perception of when their lines should be redone.
Beyond perception, the durability of lines can depend on several factors such as:
• The quality of the product used;
• The method of application;
• The condition of the surface (e.g. crumbling bitumen, accumulation of water, dirty surface, etc.);
• The frequency of snow removal and excessive use of salt;
• Traffic ;
• Etc.
